Spring 2019 Make-Up trends

Beauty trends have a pretty big impact on the world of make-up, and that's exactly why we’ve rounded up the best make-up trends for spring 2019 - from fancy smokey eyes to colored eyeliner and everything in between. Here are the 7 biggest trends to have on your radar for 2019. (and when you’re done here, check out our 2019 Hair Trends too).

1. Smokey Eyes

Welcome back Inky, Smudgy, Smoky Eyes! All-time favorite Smoky Eyes make the skin look much hazier and glam. Make-up artist Diane Kendal’s team created golden smokey eyes for the '70s-inspired Tom Ford fall 2019 show. Add some layers: Gray, black, brown, plum, you decide. Adding layers actually gives the shadow more dimension and doesn't make it look too heavy; in the end just touch the inner corner with a shimmer to open up the eyes.

2. Glowing Skin

Gowing skin is never not on trend. Spring - summer 2019 beauty trends are all about naturally glowing skin.  But what we can do to have a healthy glowing skin? We are focusing more on what we put into our bodies, but a glowing complexion can easily be achieved with a clean diet and skincare routine. Get enough sleep, drink enough water, create a clean-eating meal plan, and make a cleanser to be the fundamental product in your face care routine. This is all you need for glowing skin!

3. Natural Look

Is there anything better than a natural bare skin glowing with health? Speaking of natural, one of the most shocking beauty moments of NYFW was bare-faced models at Marc Jacobs fashion show. For the spring 2019 make-up trends, many make-up artists kept skin foundation-free, instead opting to use just a touch of concealer only on the spots where it was truly necessary. Skip mascara, but wear a pastel eyeshadows to better stand out, and lipstick for just a touch of color.

4. Colored eyeliner

Colored eyeliner is so cool and modern, and you don't need to have so much technical knowledge to apply it. We've seen so much color on the eyes during NYFW - there were a lot of candy-colored eyes, which brands have been delivering in their newest collections. Don't be afraid to try a colored eyeliner instead of the traditional black or brown. Your skin will look fresh and happy!

5. Kissed by the Summer Sun

The bronzed makeup season is back, baby! Healthy-looking bronze skin is all we want for this summer. This is the kind of trend that we love because it instantly makes us look more youthful. Bronze pairs well with peachy eyeshadow. For the sun-kissed look add a hint of highlighter or an orangey-brown blush on the cheeks and over the bridge of the nose. Instead of applying a highlighting stick directly to your skin, just put it on the back of your hand, and then use your fingers to put it where you want it. Bronzed makeup will always make you feel like you’re in Miami, even if you’re in Yerevan.

6. Pretty in Pink

Pink was favored as part of the spring/ summer 2019 makeup trends, especially in monochrome looks where the pink powder was used on eyes, cheeks, and lips. It pairs well with romantic dresses, floral prints, tiaras, that we see all over the runways. The most gorgeous look we saw was at Ulla Johnson show, with pink mascara on the lashes, and a touch of pastel pink eyeshadow. Pink is big for spring, but you could wear it at any time of year.

We recommend: Make-up artist Aghavni Petrosyan

7. Colorful Eyeshadow

If you’re a fan of color, then you will fall in love with spring/ summer 2019 makeup trends. Keep your makeup clean and natural, but add some shades of magenta, light pink, bright yellow, mint pastel greens or baby blue. The limit to how many colors you should use simply does not exist.  If you want to add more color, go for it. Bold colors will be absolutely everywhere this spring. Isn’t this divine?
